    Your characterization could be interpreted somewhat like what Grandpa Simpson might say.

    My line reading was along the lines of “Nah, don’t assume anything!”

    And, as it turns out, Thomas’ is made by George Weston Bakeries, Inc. http://www.gwbakeries.com.

    Amusingly, they have nothing of interest in their “history” section.
