If you were to fall out of an airplane at 35000 feet, assuming negligible air resistance and a hard transition from freefall to terminal velocity (205.333 feet per second), it will take you 176.86 seconds to hit the ground.
Which is quite long enough to thoroughly contemplate how screwed you are.

But at 35000 feet, you have less than 30 seconds worth of oxygen, and the air temperature is -67F (assuming 59F at sea level). Chances are you’re snoozing immediately, though you may wake up at perhaps 5000 feet…
